THE PROJECT

This KMC X Hair House collaboration was a match made in rock and roll heaven. Tyler and Toni, founders of “Hair House ATX” are a hair-whispering duo and all around badass couple who are masters of their profession. For KMC Team Kara and Joeli, it was important that their collection of personal branding imagery looked effortless and laid back in a nostalgic, old leather and rock and roll type of way, with of course ALL the hair action.

Though Tyler and Toni clearly have their own timeless, creative style established, it was important that these shots entice their specific audience using movement, nuetral yet lively tones, and a Johnny-and-June image in order to bring likeminded clientele into their salon.

Their collection shows the type of edgy and bold stylists they are, while remaining warm, welcoming, and professional while provoking the audience to think “I need to be a part of their club.” This is the perfect example of how Kara and Joeli’s different, yet cohesive shooting styles are an ideal blend for any brand looking for a versatile, out-of-the-box representation of what they are promoting.
